What to do?
Sometimes you realise that what has brought you this far isn't going to take you any further.
Like a climber who reaches the safety of a ledge - they can see how they have got to where they are - but have to figure out how to tackle the next bit of the mountain, the different challenges that lie ahead.
Getting insight and input at such a crucial stage is invaluable - which is what Ledge Therapy aims to do. Sit side by side with you on the ledge and work it out.

What is Therapy?
Therapy provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional about your issues and concerns. Your therapist will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others.
A counsellor will not give you their opinions or advice or prescribe medication. They will help you find your own solutions – whether that’s making effective changes in your life or finding ways of coping with your problems.
What can I help with?
Abuse, ADD / ADHD, Addictions, Anger management, Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Bereavement, Cancer, Child related issues, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Coaching supervision, Cultural issues, Depression, Disability, Eating disorders, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Men's issues, Mood disorder, Phobias, Post-traumatic stress, Pregnancy related issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Substance Dependency, Women's issues, Work related issues
How will it work?
At this stage I offer sessions online. I have sessions available during the day, on evenings and on Saturdays.
You can expect me to offer a safe and confidential space. At times I offer recommended reading for you to undertake between sessions but this is always optional.
.
I offer a free 30 min introductory session for all new clients. This is absolutely obligation free and a chance for you to ask questions and work out for yourself whether I am a good fit for your current needs and circumstances.

II am a qualified psychodynamic therapist with a background in family law. I have worked in a variety of therapeutic roles and contexts and lived in both the UK and Australia. I have also worked as a consultant in areas of child bereavement.
I am starting to take on new clients again after a break to have children. I have significant experience supporting those in both ministry roles and leadership positions. I work with all ages and backgrounds, my aim always being to provide a safe space for you to bring whatever you are carrying.
Although my background is psychodynamic I do offer an integrative approach, believing it is most important to respond authentically to each individual client.
